traceit.js can be used to trace words, blocks of text, images, DIVs, and about everything a developer might want encircled.
The plugin works by generating a SVG circle and overlaying on top of the element.
Raphael is responsible for this action, along with the slow animation that accompanies the tracing action, helping bring focus to the traced item.
On the other hand, jQuery is used to dynamically detect the traced element's size, adjusting the trace properties so it properly encloses the page element.
Developers can control the tracing animation's speed, the line's thickness, along with its color.
traceit.js works with responsive page elements and includes some useful callbacks.
A few examples and usage instructions are included with the traceit.js files.
